Welcome To The Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois


Thank you for visiting Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois. Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois was established in 1993, as a not-for-profit trade association with an intent to unify and promote uniform code administration in the Association area which has focused on providing affordable training for its membership.

We are an organization of over 90 members primarily representing local government Building, Planning, Zoning, Code and Fire professional and those involved in building construction, testing, research and design. Our members communities span from are as far north as Quincy to as far south as Carbondale.

  • The International Code Council has launched the first edition of the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) Public Version 1.0, which establishes minimum regulations for public and residential pools, spas and hot tubs using prescriptive- and performance-related provisions. Developed in cooperation with the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) , PV 1.0 is available as a free download on the ICC website.

  • The Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois are pleased to announce the results of the 2010-2011 Member Incentive Program. Sharon Walter of Highland, and Erick Harris of O'Fallon were both awarded with paid travel, lodging and registration expenses to the ICC's Annual Conference / Annual Business Meeting to be held October 30th - November 5th in Phoenix, Arizona. Congratulations and our deepest gratitude to both Sharon and Erick for their dedication and numerous contributions of time and talent to the Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois. Your awards are well-deserved!
