Welcome To The Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois


Thank you for visiting Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois. Code Enforcement Officials of Southern Illinois was established in 1993, as a not-for-profit trade association with an intent to unify and promote uniform code administration in the Association area which has focused on providing affordable training for its membership.

We are an organization of over 90 members primarily representing local government Building, Planning, Zoning, Code and Fire professional and those involved in building construction, testing, research and design. Our members communities span from are as far north as Quincy to as far south as Carbondale.

  • March Meeting Date Change- The March Meeting will be moved to Tuesday, March 20, 2012 to precede the 2012 Changes to the IRC Training on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Both events will be held in O'fallon Illinois.

  • Scholarship Applications- The CEOSI Margaret A Leleniewski Memorial as well as the CEOSI Building Trades Scholarship are now accepting applications for this years awards to graduating High School Seniors of our member communities.

 

  • Membership Renewal- Membership applications for new as well as existing communities who wish to renew, are now available. Renewals are due by May 1, 2012.

 

  • The Nominating Committee for CEOSI wishes to formally extend an invitation for all members to become part of the Executive Committee. The Nominating Committee is accepting names for the positions of President, Vice President, Treasures, Secretary and Trustee. If you are interested in one of the positions or would like to suggest someone please contact the Nominating Committee.

 

  • The International Code Council has launched the first edition of the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) Public Version 1.0, which establishes minimum regulations for public and residential pools, spas and hot tubs using prescriptive- and performance-related provisions. Developed in cooperation with the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) , PV 1.0 is available as a free download on the ICC website.
